Accidental Photowalk

Last weekend, I went down to the Canton waterfront in Baltimore thinking I would take some photos for a project I am working on about what summer feels like. When I got there, it turned out that about 100 photographers were already there for an organized photowalk that included folks from Baltimore and DC. In fact, Hannah, my photography instructor, was among the photowalkers. I decided to join the group, and for about an hour or so, we walked around and captured pictures of the Harbor.
Halfway through the walk, the latch on the film door of my Nikon N80 failed, and ruined most of the pictures I had gotten on that roll. Fortunately, I had other cameras on me, so I switched to the Pentax 17 and the Sprocket Rocket. After the organized walk ended, I continued on my own up into O’Donnell Square and got a few more shots while my car charged.
It was a beautiful day, and I did get some shots that I will be saving for my summer project. Still, let me share a few of the other shots I got along the way.

I love the titles that accompany these too. Cupcakes down seems to me to be a brilliant nomiker for something. So glad to see these. Will be bookmarking this website. 💜
